A: The IRB meets every Tuesday and approved documents are usually available in less than 72 hours.

A: Yes, a dietician is available to help individualize menus.

A: A state-of-the-art security system limits admission to the building. Fifteen cameras monitor the building inside and out and off-security monitoring is provided 24 hours a day from a central monitoring facility.

A: The licensed professionals and staff at BCRC have decades of experience safely conducting Phase I studies in healthy volunteers in a timely fashion.

A: Yes, QA is provided by an auditor with over 30 years of clinical research experience?

A: A biomedical engineer regularly visits BCRC to check and verify the accuracy of all medical equipment.

Q: Does BCRC have a system to assure that acceptable storage temperatures for drugs and biological samples will be maintained?

A: Yes, BCRC has a system that automatically monitors temperatures of all storage freezers and refrigerators 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. BCRC also possesses an independent power source to maintain acceptable temperatures should a power outage occur.
